Year: 1985
Situation: Two strange aliens carry an unconscious bohemian gentlemen to a remote villa. A finely dressed lady and a man with bizarre sunglasses follow closely behind. Just what is going on here?

The Doctor and Peri arrive on Space Station D7 so the Doctor can receive medical help from scientist Dastari. The Sontarans and Chessini have kidnapped The Doctor's second incarnation and conduct a genetic operation on him to discover the secrets of time travel. Tthe Doctor, Peri and the abandoned Jamie follow the trail to Seville on Earth, where Chessini plots to spread her malice through time and space....

The Steven Spielberg Project
Saving Private Ryan

And so begins MMM's new project for the beginning of 2010 - each of the team picked their favourite Spielberg-directed film, and we did a commentary for it.

First one is Geoff's choice, the harrowing 1998 film, Saving Private Ryan.

A film which one a swag of awards, most notably a best Director Academy Award for Spielberg. It's a film which at times is hard to watch, but at the same time impossible to look away from or forget.
