The continuing saga of the Corleone crime family tells the story of a young Vito Corleone growing up in Sicily and in 1910s New York; and follows Michael Corleone in the 1950s as he attempts to expand the family business into Las Vegas, Hollywood and Cuba.
What
version of Godfather 2 DVD will this work with?
This commentary was recorded using the Directors Edition R4 DVD. It will
work with the R2 and R1 Special Edition also.
As far as MMM can ascertain all regions have the two disc set identical to the one used for the commentary recording by David in Australia. The second disc in all regions should have as its first scene a car winding its way up a mountain road.
The commentary for both discs is in the one file - a brief pause has been included to allow the requisite disc change.
I have the R1 DVD - can I still listen
to it?
Yes, if you are using Winamp to listen to the commentary you can use a freeware
utility to slow down our commentary by 4% to enable it to play at the same speed
as your R1 DVD. A great pitch/speed corrector for your Winamp player can be downloaded here. If
you are using a portable mp3 player like an IPod or a Nomad they usually have
a speed/pitch correction facility on them to allow you to change the speed to
match that of the NTSC audio from your DVD. Click here to learn why it is important to change the pitch if you are using a R1 DVD.
To ensure the commentary is synched with my DVD/Video, when should I start playing your commentary?
As soon as the movie itself starts.
How can I download your Godfather2 commentary?
You can use your IPOD, mp3 player or media player on your computer. A download link is included on the right, or for access to this and the entire range of MMM Commentaries, you can use our RSS feed, a link for which is also available on the right hand side.
